I still feel abit chilled by the shower scene in Psycho. It such a vulnerable time a killer would really have someone trapped if they were in the shower. I imagine some people were a little nervous about taking a shower after that movie.

Marion Crane tried desperately to fight off mother in the shower scene but got killed anyways. I agree with Molfan. There's no escaping a killer when the victim is in the shower. His/her fate is sealed. The victim is naked, defenseless and usually caught off guard!
