 | Donovan (129) 06/10/2008 | Smart, witty and articulate reviewer. We may not always agree but I don't even agree with myself that often. I appreciate his openness to some subjects that he may not naturally gravitate towards.

 | lmorovan (12) 05/24/2008 | Not one of my favorites especially for his somewhat derogatory remarks on topics regarding faith and beliefs. But, of course, he has all the right in the world to express his views and opinions. That much said, there are occasional bursts of intelligent and constructive reviews which don't go unnoticed.

 | Ridgewalker (48) 05/14/2008 | Okay, Oscar...a deal's a deal. I promised Oscargamblesfro (the best pure hitter on RIA) that when he finished reviewing all of the players on his Washington Senators list that I would tell him where his FrankenBerry was hidden. As you can see by the picture, Oscar has a...ummm... problem (?) with FrankenBerry. But, please, before you do-gooders come rushing to his rescue, he's NOT in any pain. In fact, he has used his affliction to his benefit, like telling chicks that he just graduated from Ringling Bros, or the famous, "Thanks, but I only have three days to live." Scoundrel! Either way, he gets his FrankenBerry back.
Shelob's guarding it. I think you know the way. Up the stairs to the left and through the slimey stuff.
Oooops...I'm late for an appointment. Gotta go...
Bye.

 | irishgit (138) 04/14/2008 | His reviews and knowledge of music and baseball alone are worthy of 5 stars. When combined with a clear expository style and a great sense of humor, he is one of the stars of the site.
Besides that, he's been identified by another reviewer as one of my three apostate brothers, along with Canadasucks and magellan.

 | FranksWildYears (48) 03/04/2008 | Of all the reviewers on RIA Oscar is definitely one of them. Rumour has it that his sister is a thespian and that there is a video on YouTube of Oscar matriculating in high school. I cannot recommend this reviewer highly enough.

 | operator 409 (7) 07/21/2007 | Being a card collector as a kid, I understood the meaning of the name 'oscargamblesfro' right off the bat (ahem). As much as I enjoy reading some of the opinions on RIA...agreeing with (and learning from) a posted P.O.V just makes it that much better. Keep up the good work, OGF.

 | Victor83 (35) 03/20/2007 | Oscar seems like a very nice person. I am just wondering if he's a millionaire with that baseball card collection...

 | doobiesNhof (21) 03/20/2007 | High marks for a guy that knows his baseball (even though he doesn't pick my Braves to do that well in '07)!!

 | Vudija (92) 03/20/2006 | Exceptionally knowledgeable on music and sports. I might not be thew biggest sports fan, but his reviews on each team or sort are interesting to read. I especially love reading his music reviews, as I most always agree with him. You also have to love the humor that arose during the reviews he made when talking about teenage pop singers like Britney Spears :)

 | DrEntropy (38) 03/19/2006 | Oscar's posts are a pleasure to read; I have no interest in baseball, but his writings on music and Boston are some of the best I've read (anywhere, not just RIA).

 | oscargamblesfro (76) 02/20/2006 | Before I begin, I would like to thank the people who rated me and especially the ones who have left such kind remarks...
A pretentious buffoon, who, though grown, still eats monster cereals such as Frankenberry and Booberry. (This is true) What kind of adult eats such nonsense still? An imbecile obsessed with the psychedelic rock twenty years or more before his time, enamored of 19th century baseball players, lunatic that encompasses all of the worst stereotypes of the divers groups that make up the fool in the first place. Ridgewalker's baseball like tribute is gratefully appreciated, but they fail to address the fact that in little league the subject of the review hit about a buck fifty ( though he was a pretty good fielder). Geez, Ridge, why didn't you put my Social Security number, age, occupation, highest degree earned, address and my grandfather's favorite type of vegetable down too? ( Just kidding you buddy) There's something for everyone to hate in this opinionated and acerbic moron- a smoker, bad dresser, shorter than the average guy, the quintessential Boston driver, left leaning in general, even a defender of early Chicago ( the band). Oh, and in an interracial relationship too for all you Bob Jones U. fans out there. I can't think of a more loathsome reviewer off the top of my head, a fatuous, despicable freak...

 | edt4 (99) 01/10/2006 | Has an encyclopedic knowledge of music, sensitivity and compassion, great intelligence...and writes very well to boot. A most welcome addition to this website. And he's funny too.

 | numbah16tdhaha (147) 12/29/2005 | First, he has a cool username. Second, he makes me laugh. Third, he is clever enough to make you think a bit. Hmm, I think we have a winner.

 | traderboy (25) 12/24/2005 | EASILY nests within my Top Five Reviewers list (quite an accomplishment in the short time he's been posting on this site). I looked up the word "prolific" the other day, and I'll be dipped in buttermilk if "oscargamblesfro" didn't scroll out as the second-alternate definition of the word! In a jealous quirk of a way, I almost hate to see him post under a topic; once you've read through it, you think "what the hell can I possibly add to that?!?" Very thorough, and manages to write everything you were gonna say with a seemingly-effortless style that I'm nowhere near approaching. And don't discard him as a one-note obsessive; just when you've pegged him as a music savant, he shifts through the gearbox and powers his way into politics (with an admirable moderate-to-liberal bent), sports, current events, movies, you name it. An inescapable dynamo that's left a lasting impression on RateItAll.

 | Bird808 (52) 12/22/2005 | I have to second Djahuti and say this guy is not only a good reviewer, but a decent human being to boot. I've had some good conversations with this guy in private message and he won't be apologising to anyone for the way he is and I say good on you!
