Such a ridiculous caricature of a statesman. Makes fun of political points of view he doesn't agree with. Ann Coulter in black face? We need to rise above this combative hate speach.

Mr. J.C. would have my vote over most of the White Republicans. Hey, wasn't Clinton our first black president?

Watts has a future in politics if he chooses to pursue that option. He's been away from the game for a few years now, but if he ran for either Senate or Governor, I suspect that he would receive major consideration from the national party. He has to demonstrate that he's electable on a statewide level. He could definitely bring much to a Republican ticket.

JC has experience in DC and he's well connected within the Republican ranks. The 1st black president will be a Republican, but the shame of the matter is that the national print media will probably allow him to be labeled as an Uncle Tom and the NAACP won't denounce any public criticism nor oreos thrown at him at black colleges. The idea that it is all right for him to national platform rather than a "black" platform won't be respected by some. However, that's the only way a black American can win a general election.

As far as political chances go, this guy is sort of the Republican version of Obama. Neither looks like he has the chops for a serious run in '08, but a shot down the road in '12 or '16 could well be in the cards.

I would give heavy consideration to a Watts/Largent ticket, (or vice versa, but the category is about a potential black President). I agree that some time spent in an executive position (gov) would be beneficial.

I really like Watts, but he needs to be Oklahoma governor first - and he is considered a possible candidate. If he runs and wins the OK governor's mansion, he's a '12 frontrunner! --- Famous for called black Democratic leadership "Race-hustling poverty pimps!"

Don't know too much, but I have liked what I see. Overall, I think a black republican has the best chances.
