I am not saying it should not happen and it could happen one day but people will be flying to work, and the moon will have its own Disney park. If there is a candidate that is any better then what we had in the last 2 or 3 decades, I don't care what sex or color they as long as they can do a good job.

In the south of the United States a lot of people are still racist. Cival Rights made them Republican. Republicans will only vote black if the Democrat is black or brown.

Based solely on the preponderence of African-Americans in the Dem party. With the right candidate, it could happen easily.

Wait. We've already HAD the first black president. His name is Bill Clinton. That's what my black friends tell me.

The Democrats will never nominate a black president. They are the party of slavery, segregation, the KKK, welfare dependence, crappy government housing, crappy government schools, and destruction of the family unit. ***Update*** Senator Robert Bryd (D-WV) was in the KKK and he is a very visible and vocal Democratic Senate leader. All of the founders of the KKK were Democrats, most Southern Democratic politicans in the South between 1875 and 1975 were high up in the KKK, many historians argue that the KKK was the militant wing of the Democratic Party for over 100 years, the KKK is irrelevent today but most current members are elderly Southern Democrats to this very day.
