01/01/2007 | Help, I cannot see why Lincoln was great, I cannot feel why he was good. To me he is okay in most regards and also in this one.
Now, here in this corner I will make a clean breast of my problem with Lincoln: When I saw him first as a kid, I was frightened by the look of his face. I still feel a certain air of contempt about his features and tried hard to keep my personal dislike out of my Lincoln-ratings. I am not sure if I managed.

02/27/2006 | Well, there are a lot of details that tarnish the legend, but hey, he once walked 7 miles to return a library book, so how can you miss?
