He was a great president and leader, but I'm sorry, you can't look the American people in the eye and lie to them and claim moral authority. Do they all do it? Maybe. But he was caught, and thus loses his moral authority. Stupidly I might also add. He should have simply responded to the questions about Lewinsky by saying, "I'm not going to dignify these questions with responses. I am certainly not going to discuss my private life or the private lives of any of my staff. You people really need to get a life." By denying it, even if he was telling the truth, he essentially legitimized the questions, which should be left to the tabloids.

Regardless of one's political views, I don't think any reasonably intelligent person looked to Bill Clinton for moral guidance. Then again, I wouldn't expect that from very many politicians to begin with.

All you sneaky (and silent) 4 and 5 raters, I wonder how you would rate him if William Sessions had surreptitiously gone to the Washington Times, giving detailed accounts of mis-deeds and lies told, helping them to cut through Clinton's scandal cover-ups and stonewallings. The only difference morally between Clinton and Nixon was that Nixon's Deep Throat (Mark Felt) serviced Nixon's enemies while Clinton's Deep Throat serviced the president.

Not a bad president, but not a moral guy.

Well, he did admit that he never had a girlfriend when Kenneth Starr questioned him on his past liaisons. Let's just assume that Bill was faithful to Hillary all the way.

How is he even on this list? I can understand him being on a list asking for most immoral presidents, but the guy had THREE different affairs!!
