I liked it. I was not really familiar with him or his music. I knew he had been married to Pamela Anderson. I thought it was fun. In showing him going to college he seemed to be pretty serious about it. He was polite to people even when sometimes the teachers or ones in charge were not being that nice. Having gone to school and dealt with those type of people that think they know it all I did feel sympathy for him. It was a college in the Midwest that was rather square. He then had a mentor a girl to teach him. Much was made of her being good looking but I don't think that he really cared too much about her she was not all that good looking. He tried to understand what she was saying. Poor Tommy even had trouble on the music band auditions. They gave him another chance or something. I did not see all the episodes. It is too bad he didn't get somewhere on the subjects maybe he will later. I saw him struggling with botany and I know he tried. I was being pushed into college and I know it gets to be too much. After seeing it I thought he was ok. Really when I used to see him with Pamela Anderson I didn't know what she saw in him.
