Baseball has already expanded too much. It takes a big city with dedicated fans to support a team with 81 home games. In places like Tampa Bay and Kansas City, it is evident that fans aren't coming out to support their teams. If another city has a viable plan for hosting a major league baseball team, than one of the underperforming teams in the league could be moved. However, creating more subpar teams will only hurt the quality of play in baseball.
