i could see disbanding the yankees cuz they're nuthin but a bunch of bought big names. the braves, however, where half made up of rookies this year. sure there are a few key veterans such as andrew, chipper, and smoltz, but it's not like they're just buying the top players from other teams like the yankees do.

Ridiculous. Both are major market teams, and have been consistently solid performers over the past decade.

I despise both teams, but I'd hate to see either one gone. It's pretty tough to work up a strong loathing for the Angels, say, or the Cards. Gloating when the Braves or Yankees lose is one of the great pleasures of baseball.
