09/26/2008 | I'm sure the industry is full of unsavoury, sleazy, amoral, abusers and manipulators who have committed unspeakable acts against poor helpless victims. Some people also enter the industry willingly and make a decent living at it from reports. I doubt that the product of all of this has changed society as a whole for good or worse. They are simply catering to a market that is looking for fantasy indulgence. The existing labour laws would probably provide adequate protection for those involved in the industry if it was run above board.

excessive porn leads to an intense hatred of women and desensitization to pain inflicted on women neurochemically. eventually to compulsive porn watchers lose the ability to empathize and torturing live people might as well be torturing a fence or car. the pathway to empathy is erased. then we get offenders. it creates pathways in the brain that numb so that the sexual violence in porn must increase to achieve the same orgasm as before.
it's really too bad, because porn is incredibly erotic and a huge turn on for me personally.

02/08/2008 | Porn makes most men think much less of their wives and girlfriends because they can't live up to the standards the models do in both looks and performance. I was exposed to porn at a pretty young age and you never look at a woman the same way again. To me it cheapens everything.
This will offend many, but I do not care. Those who defend porn either do not have a wife or girlfriend, their wife or girlfriend doesn't know or their wife or girlfriend is maybe in the 1% who enjoys it.

02/06/2006 | I don't think all porno is harmful.Much of it probably serves the needs of lonley or sexually frustrated people.Most of the "actors and actresses" are adults who chose to make money that way.I do object to anything involving minors or animals,though-or some of the extremely violent or brutal stuff.I myself have the following opinion towards porn: If I'm hungry- I get nothing out of watching someone else eat!

Now, with the proliferance of amateur productions on the internet, any exhibitionist can upload images of themselves in erotic situations produced with cheap equipment, minimal talent, and unattractive performers. Thus, pornography is one of the last remaining truly democratic institutions in our society. Are you going to disrespect democracy, my friend? I would sincerely hope not. Oh, but child pornographers should definitely be lined against a wall and peppered with shotgun blasts.
