If God didn't want us to eat animals, he wouldn't have made them so damn delicious.

Dont eat what you wouldn't kill in my opinion. Whose the dumb bitch in the cage? LOL
worshipJesusno w 05/03/2009
some of these people get out of hand... Unbalanced..
ayn 04/20/2009
I like the majority of their views. However, nobody takes them seriously so they just end up pissing into the wind. They have the potential to do great good, but they choose the wrong route and end up becoming a nuissance (sp?). Accomplishing very little.
quarterhorse51 04/13/2009
Those flaky people at PETA were even protesting at Rodeos. They are off the wall.
Rey de sombras 04/09/2009
some of their points have merit, but most of their arguments are just ridiculous.
sk4u2009 03/18/2009
I'm sorry, basic animals such as cows, pigs, etc are and were put on this earth for food. Everyone has their own rights to eat what they want...... but think back several hundred years ago...... sure ppl had gardens, but they also hunted animals for food, so how has that changed???
MissPackRat4Je sus 03/02/2009
They're not hurtful as long as they're minding their own business and don't rub their ideas in my face. If they don't believe in eating meat, then more power to them.As for myself: bring on that delicious mouth-watering cheeseburger!!
kaylastarshine 02/28/2009
I don't know, they tend to be quite extreme, and I disagree with a lot they do and say. I think their heart is in the right place, but they are way too extreme at times, and honestly, they make me want to do the opposite of what they say when they use such tactics. Let's just say I would never eat their proposed human milk ice cream that they wanted ben and jerry's to make. That is just disgusting! *yuck* But I do agree about experimentation, and I don't wear fur or leather. Although, I don't see the harm in an animal being in a movie, as long as they are treated well and have handlers. And yes, I am a meat-eater.But above all, I have 3 cats, 3 dogs, and the memory of my first dog who died in 2006, she was with us since I was 11 or 12. They are all life babies to me. And I would never want to see them hurt, it is still heart breaking to think about my Karen, and she died 3 years ago this April. I do love animals, I am not for hunting, but I am not against people who choose to do that. I don't understand how anyone could shoot a deer, but again, that is not my choice. And to be honest, the only way I can eat meat or any animal product is to not think about it, because otherwise it grosses me out. Let's just say if I didn't eat meat I wouldn't get any protein, I'd live on carbohydrates, that's just how picky I am.But back to PETA, I do think they have good intentions, but they overstep far too many boundaries too often, and that is when I get irritated with them.
Crystal_Morphi ne-poisioned ur parents[SCREAM !] 02/21/2009
we SHOULD eat less meat cause the energy and waste killing animals create but it's not my place or anyone elses for the matter to decide everyone needs to eat letucce. i'm a vegitarian mostly.
LadyJesusFan77 7 01/08/2009
I am a meat-eater, so this group would never work for me. However, I do believe that things should be done in order and in a humane way. And PETA is too extreme for me. While trying to prove a point they only make themselves look like a bunch of sick individuals.
Daniel (CFF) 12/31/2008
i could take it or leave it
jennifer1661 12/14/2008
Get over it people. If you eat meat you eat meat if you dont, then deal with it!
Christine Sedita 12/11/2008
Being a meat eater, but not a leather lover... I think it's natural for humans to eat meat. I think it's impossible for us to hunt, with the way society is set up, so we have to go with farm animals. However, we don't eat a large varity of animals, that we could eat, because we are omnivores, out of respect of nature.
skins63 11/27/2008
PETA is another example of a special interest group that insists on changing everyone’s way of life. I suppose it hasn’t occurred to them, some may not want to change? Or perhaps they do not care? Personally I have certain views; however I have no right to force them on anyone else. I honestly believe some groups like PETA start out with the best of intentions, but somewhere along the way they lose themselves.
Will292 11/27/2008
um....yea sometimes they just need to respect others prefences
[:♥BAGE L STEALER :]♥ 10/15/2008
GOOO PETA!
Tony Galento 10/13/2008
They're annoying but theres a lot of hot chicks in it who get nude to "protest", papa like.
sistapoetry 10/11/2008
I think sometimes they go way too far...like them saying now that they want Ben and Jerry's to put breastmilk in the ice cream instead of cow's milk...I think they are insane
LivvyLoo 10/10/2008
I respect that they want to help animals, but they could do it in a less asinine way.
Dom5146 10/10/2008
their wierd
Paul & Kim 10/09/2008
Shut the hell up PETA. They're are starving and abused kids in this country, and these fuckers care only about animals.
Jhena 10/08/2008
Another answer that sucks. It's nature to eat animals, but it's a persons decision and should not be strong armed or terrorized to see to one side or the other.
Jim9713 10/08/2008
They get this rating because they are WAY over the top.
B-illy 10/07/2008
You don't even want to get my full review on PETA and the PETArds
Christie3498 10/06/2008
They can go to far on occasion...but someone has to look after the animals.
trebon1038 10/05/2008
very hurtful....this is a radical group. Animal welfare is one thing but these people will do anything to get attention and have a lot of people snowed with their propaganda.
Josh7535 10/04/2008
2 million members is quite slim compared to the 370 billion people in the US.
Marcelina 10/02/2008
Hypocrites. They kill animals. Oh, I forgot, they don't EAT them. It's all good.
Ashley506 10/01/2008
i have a vegan friend, and i support her and all, but i sometimes think that they take it too far about some facts, but it's my opinion, but i supprt her
Meghan861 10/01/2008
I haven't seen them outside of Red Lobster protesting!! What about the lobsters???? They are animals too!
irishgit 09/30/2008
I think PETA is disgusting. Not for wanting to protect animals, but for their methodology and their frequently stated dislike of humanity. In my town, after the arrest of a vicious serial killer who had allegedly fed his victims to pigs, PETA wanted to run a billboard campaign equating the butchering of pigs with his murders. To their credit, the local advertising companies wouldn't run the campaign. I'm always reminded, when I hear the rantings of PETA spokespeople and their supporters that the two countries which passed the strongest anti-vivisection laws were Victorian England and Nazi Germany. Meanwhile six year old boys were being forced naked down chimneys to clean them while pregnant women pulled coal carts in England, and Jews and countless other undesireables were exterminated in Germany.
McCHIDO 09/30/2008
THEY GOT SOME FINE CHIX PROTESTING..
cowgirls don't cry 09/29/2008
Another organization that takes animal treatment wayyyyy to far. Fight for proper treatment of animals and that is fine but the ranching industry does not abuse the animal....we eat the meat so abuse ruins it. duuhhh!!! Dumb asses....but hey at least the guys get and almost nude calendar once a year!
Priest85 09/29/2008
Good idea IN MODERATION
J@ME$ 09/27/2008
I think that PETA Helps alot but you have to draw a line. I think that people who want to eat meat should be able to. but while raising the cows to be killed. they should live good lives not be caught up in some little room or whatever. and as long as we are going to be killing them the leather should not go to waste but as for wearing other animal skins and such. I dont think thats a good idea (I know its kind of a double standard). I also do not think we should experiment on animals unless absulutly necasary like to cure cancer or something but not for something like shampoo. and as for using animals for enertainment defidently not good.
Whitney4393 09/27/2008
Some times they do good, but other times (recent Ben & Jerry's Letter) they are way off.
Dave3044 09/27/2008
They do some good, I think.
bill4829 09/26/2008
anthropomorphism in its worst form
mysteriousmyst eries 09/26/2008
i support peta fully, but they get a little carried away. i still eat meat. its good....
Angel659 09/23/2008
Animals have feelings!!!!!! I would not stop eating meat though
ValkyrieVoice 09/23/2008
Someone needs to be for the animals!
Jamie & Finn 09/23/2008
I agree with their views on animal birth control, stopping animal testing, and improving factory farm conditions, they do good things but go about them in ways that aren't the best. They sure will beg for your damn money.
KenSue!! 09/23/2008
I understand their purpose, but I think they take it overboard.
Lucy Jane 09/23/2008
fuck peta! what a joke-all those famous bitches get caught walkin outta fuckin KFC three months after the endorse fuckin peta. fuck this over glamourized oversexualized fucking organization!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (yes, i fucking hate peta)
scarletfeather 09/23/2008
I'm all for supporting animals but PETA uses such extreme measures that people are offended. They scare away people who might actually support them. My suggestion to PETA: Tone it down!
jennifer8300 09/23/2008
i like steak! i dont ever want to smear something on my face that eploded a bunny rabbits eye while it was still living and shreiking from the torture. btw to the binding animal mutilaters? do you have a pulse??
Sheronda 09/22/2008
DAMED IF U R DAMED IF UR NOT.
Cara~Nina 09/22/2008
I respect what they're trying to do.I do feel they take it a lil far sometimes. You cannot tell people to not eat meat. From what I understand man has been eatiing meat long, long before PETA came about.Protein people.
Mickey9522 09/22/2008
The Vice-President of PETA is an insulin dependent diabetic, who like myself would be dead if it weren't for animal testing! I also think people should question PETA members on what they do with the domestic animals that they so "kindly" save from being euthanized. It is my understanding that they are placed in a freezer, alive. (Not so ethical in my opinion!)
