But when he moved to LA and started spending more time partying with celebrities than actually being spritual and shit, he wasn't as cool. The time that he flashed the paparazzi while getting out of Paris Hilton's limo was the low point.

 | DarrenGJohnson (20) 04/24/2006 | What I find interesting about the Dalai Lama, besides the message of passivism and peace that the Tibetan Buddist hold, is the manner in which he is chosen. When the Dalai Lama dies, they write down the exact time and then go looking for a baby that was born at the exact time of the death of the previous Dalai Lama. The first male (I assume male) Tibetan that is found to be born at the same time as the death then becomes the next Dalai Lama. They believe the spirit of the last Dalai Lama leaves that one and goes into the baby being born at the same time. That is rather a fascinating concept.
