Holy crap! Going down this list I'm getting kinda despondent at how much really bad music the 80's produced.

It's very nicely written

A classic song from the 80s, used to great effect in Boogie Nights.

I like it despite myself, but it is pretty cheesy.

Pure, pure cheese enjoying a second life in period film soundtracks. "Boogie Nights" anyone? And it's pure hokey fun at best and at worst it's people's exhibit A of bad early-80's rock.

Wow! Unbelievable that this song should be so low on this list. This a great classic song and deserves to be more near the top.

An early hair band ballad from a rather commercially successful band comprised of refugees from various well known hard rock acts, the only value of this infernal garbage is kitsch/ camp value, it's really an awful, bathetic, and simply pitiful tune.

Okay, let me destroy another myth according to an interview I saw on VH1. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGION! THERE IS NO SISTER CHRISTIAN! There is, however, a sister Christy. When the lead singer's sister graduated high school, she and her friends decided to drive around her town looking for guys, or as they called it 'motorin''. He wrote 'Sister Christy' as a warning about being careful in the choices that she would have to make. The actual first line was supposed to be 'Sister Christy, I know the time has come', but when he sang it for the band it came out 'Sister Christian, oh the time has come'. As a result, the misunderstanding stuck.
