Yeah, this is baseball's baby and if they don't handle it I'll just keep refusing to spend money on anything associated with Major League Baseball. They haven't seen a dime from me in two years and I'm sure I'm not alone.UPDATE: I made the original review up there almost two years and I still haven't spent any money on MLB. Its also still not the government's business. If they can't get clean, its our obligation to marginalize them and possibly put their asses out of business...

Posted yesterday under A-Rod but very appropriate.Milo told me about an interleague game b/w the Dodgers and the Rangers where A-Rod used to play. Milo asked him if he ever touched the stuff, and A-Rod shook his head no but the whole thing was that Milo remembered A-Rod not even making eye contact w/him. Maybe it was because Milo was a utility infielder for the Dodgers but in retrospect Milo thought A-Rod just couldn't handle the situation at the time. Needless to say, Milo and A-Rod are not on speaking terms.

I'm sure I'm going to get slapped for this. . .I know this isn't a popular opinion, but baseball can't clean itself up due to its union and if they can't clean house I have no problem with Congress slapping the shite out of the 'roid nuts. I don't want kids emulating cheaters and addicts- yes, even I must concede that there are more important things going on in DC. . .but I'm a sensitive kind of guy (sniff) and want DC to clean up the game I care deeply about. (Cue Disney music) It's the right thing to do- and pragmatic (low-risk, high reward politically). . .

Really good to see Congress tackling important issues like this and not wasting time with trivialities like the economy or the war. It would be even better if some of the members could actually learn what baseball is, and how the names of the principal actors are pronounced, before they devoted their oh so valuable time to it.

not at the top of my list of concerns. do not think it is fair for a baseall player to use steroids but I am not going to lay awake worrying about it either.

Why is congress wasting their time on something Major League Baseball will take care of? I don't care if Rafeal Palmeiro commits perjury, isn't Scooter Libby more important. This should be in the power of some new fedral sports acossiation we should have, congressmen and senators have too many importatn things to do than waste their time on this "fun and interesting" topic.
