Bly gambles a little too much which only sometimes pays off. When he gambles in coverage and misses, he can't make up for it with his tackling ability ... which is very poor.

Bly would be a 3 or 4 star corner if he hadn't proven himself a locker-room cancer the last couple years in Detroit. If mgt isn't smart enough to get rid of Bly while they can still get something for him, hopefully his teammates will have learned to tune out his venom this coming season. (BTW, I don't know where this "Dre" stuff came from, his real name is Donald.)

He's an alright corner... He's got good speed for sure. Still, he's overrated. He's got his share of picks in his career (30 in 7 years), and he's not too terrible in run support. Still, he's far from my dream corner. He's not very good at jamming recievers at the line and doesn't match up well against tall wideouts. He makes a solid #2 corner, but not what I'd want as my main threat in the defensive backfield. That's why I'll give him a 3, even though he's realistically more of a 3.5 player. UPDATE: For some reason I was entirely unaware of what he had done to his teammater, Joey Harrington, essentially blaming him for the firing of Steve Mariucci. No single player is responsible for a coach getting fired, and to be real honest, the Lions have played worse defense than offense usually, so it's more likely Dre' Bly's fault than Joey Harrington!
