I feel really bad that some women wear these, I hear that they are bad for the back. On that note, I am really glad for their sacrifice.

Steve Martin once wrote a book called "Cruel Shoes". I think he had these things in mind.

I know a girl in her early 20s who has a pair of these. I don't know how she walks in the things. These are clearly not for everybody. They would be very awkward on me since I am 35, a bit clumsy, and I don't exactly have a  size 2 supermodel's body type. It's either flats or pumps with heels of two inches or less for me.

Mrs. WildYears will only wear them if I drop her off at the door and then go park the car and if I go to the bar to get her drinks all evening.  I say its worth the effort on my part.

Not sure how women walk in them, but I'm glad that some do!

Dangerous weapons in bed, but if you've got her upside down, they've accomplished their main aim.

Again, I understand the appeal, but they're not really practical. On occassion, they may be something worth wearing, but not as something you'd wear most of your time out.

ANY heels will do!! I absolutely love them!! Have you noticed that women who wear heels never slouch? You have to walk tall and this gives you such a lovely air of confidence that no other shoe can give. I cannot stand flat heeled shoes I feel as if I'm treading in the gutter.

they are impossible to walk in and uncomfortable no matter how good they may look.

They turn me into a little old lady. I have trouble getting around and I'm afraid I will topple over.

Like most things where fashion is concerned, there are unwritten guide lines on when to wear these. If its done the right way I always love high heels. Probably never for obese women.

There are too many frumpy, slovenly-dressed females in the world today. Real ladies know that nylons and heels are always in style.
