These have gone in and out of fashion from time to time. Every time they come back I initially don't think I like them - but end up falling in line and buying a few pair. When I do come back around so to speak - I realize they really are a pretty nice alternative to shorts and are a lot cooler and more comfortable than light weight full length summer slacks. Hey, well, I was once into the Birkenstocks with socks thing so, while I am aware of fashion and know how to do it - when all is said and done I'm pretty much all about comfort.

Some women look funny in them, especially short or/and fat women with short legs.

Great with T-shirts and flip-flops.

Unless you've got the frame of a model, they tend to make the average woman look shorter and stumpy (not a good thing).

I find them very unflattering for most women. They make the legs look bigger and shorter. Cant wait for this item to fade into fashion history.

A good summertime alternative to shorts.

There aren't many that look very flattering on me since my legs seem to look like tree trunks...thanks to my Drum Corps days. Oi.

I love them;they're so flattering. I just wish I could wear them in winter, too. Actually, I could, but I'd get some strange looks.
