08/08/2004 | She has an excellent way with a ballad (Sweet Yesterday). Is best remembered for her country pop hit Nobody (1982) & her good looks. But there is so much more to this artist. She got disillusioned with RCA when they tried to pigeonhole her, shelved her final album, then released a puny Greatest Hits album. She resurfaced, on her own label, in 1996 with the interesting The Real Story & in 2002 with Where In The World. Sylvia is a talented diva from Kokomo, Indiana who was influenced by Patsy Cline. I look forward to more releases from her & will listen to her music for many years to come.
