Not a "fashion statement", but rather a necessity for those among us that need a little extra boost in the vision department. Male or female has nothing to do with it.

I have been wearing glasses for as long as I can remember, and I don't see them as a fashion item, since I'm lost without them.

Forget fashion....when you can't see s*** without them, you find a pair to park on your nose. Been stuck behind a second pair of eyes for 25 years now.

I wear glasses and rather like them, and I've been told by the ladyfolk that they accentuate my features, but having some nice designer frames is a must... "The Prison-Issue" frames and "Coke-Bottle" lenses won't cut it....
