Way too affected for my taste. Years ago it may have been distinctive, but in the last few years it has become very rednecky and coarsely blue collar.

Wouldn't grow one if you put a Luger to my skull. But here's a neat trick. Go up to a guy and ask him, "What's a goatee?" You'll see 9 out of 10 people grab their chin.

Goatees only look good if their well kept and once again the type of goatee says a lot about the man who wears it.
