The social news site that started it all. While Digg has had its share of controversy, you can't argue that they have changed the landscape of internet news forever!

I never dugg digg. I use google news and reader instead.

Brilliant, easy concept, well-executed. I love digg for keeping tabs on internet trends at large.

The audience is fantastically snarky, which is amusing to me, but I can see it causing problems extending reach to a broader audience.

My only problem with digg is with using their rss feeds on an iPhone (which is one of the main places I check feeds). Based upon the way they deliver information, the comments on each story's landing page are part of the action, however, on an iPhone (and I'd imagine most mobile devices), you can't launch a tab, so viewing both the article and the comments is a painful process that I usually just skip altogether. That paired with an overwhelming amount of content make digg pretty useless in the rss context. Unfortunately for them, that means I access it a whole lot less because I prefer aggregation when it comes to this kind of content discovery.

I check it out but do not use it. I should give it a try.

well, i personally think that digg is very biased and subjective about certain things. sure, they get paid to be!!!

It's interesting to see what sites get dugg up to the top. Also, the comments can be pretty funny to read, because they're about one level about YouTube comments.

I never really use Digg.  I find the community annoying, and the stories uninteresting.
