Now this was an awesome band, one of the best acts of the 90's. A high energy group , influenced by classic soul and The Stones. They did great covers too: for instance, their haunting version of "When Doves Cry." Their song "Faded," from 1996's excellent album Black Love was IMO one of the greatest rock tunes of that decade. Unfortunately, like another top notch performer of the period, the late Jeff Buckley, the public at large didn't know what they were missing, and they never sold a lot of albums.
