The ideal insole for complete foot support, comfort, correct posture and mechanics. Invented by podiatrist Dr. Les Appel, PowerStep® helps relieve heel and arch pain, while preventing foot strain and injury. A full-length, prescription-like, flexible polypropylene arch support is embedded in a double-layer polyethylene cushion casing. The result, control for feet rolling inward (overpronation), which can pull the entire lower body out of alignment... (Add picture)

Being diagnosed with plantar fasciitis opened a whole new world for me. I suddenly found myself facing daily pain simply walking, and in no time at all, my primary focus was on finding a long term solution to this condition. Being told to stay off your feet, and never go barefoot, was not what I considered a long term answer to the debilitating hassle of plantar fasciitis. I am an active person who loves to walk barefoot, and being told to adopt a more sedentary lifestyle was simply not an acceptable option.
I began searching for what had worked for others, and in pretty short order I came to realize that there were a lot of people more than willing to relieve me of my money, but they offered little in terms of ways to improve my foot condition. Eventually I found the Powerstep products on the internet, and I can honestly tell you they worked better than anything else I tried. And believe me; I looked at a lot of different solutions; mostly mainstream, and a few totally off the wall products. All told, I probably spent several hundred dollars on a huge variety of products, all designed to solve plantar fasciitis. Nothing came close to being as effective, or comfortable, as the Powerstep full length insoles.
I now use them exclusively in all my shoes and boots, and have done so for over four years. I am convinced that my total recovery from plantar fasciitis is a direct result of a combination of regularly walking barefoot in loose sand, and using Powerstep full length insoles in all of my footwear. I recommend them highly to anyone suffering from foot or heel pain as I did. There are few things more debilitating and frustrating to deal with. Life is too short for all of us to be constantly reinventing the wheel, so please, learn from my experience, because I really do believe that after all the snake-oil sales folks have left the scene, you, like me, will find yourself settling on the Powerstep products. And while nothing ever works for everyone, in my experience, Powerstep is a product that does what it says it will do, and does so at an affordable price. I hope it can help you the way it has helped me. Good luck!

I have have a lot of luck with these over the years. They last for me about a year or so before the hard insert breaks through the external molding (although I can still wear them even after this occurs without much trouble). These cured my first instance of plantar fasciitis (along with lots of yoga sun salutations and stretching/resting). You will want to wear these only a few hours a day at first, then more and then all the time. Then you can start running with them in your shoes. I wear them in every single shoe possible, without fail. I have not had plantar fasciitis again for now 7 years or so, despite doing a lot of running and playing and training for competitive ultimate frisbee.

Usually walk about 3-7 miles per day for excercie. After walk heel would be stiff and would have to ice down (Plantar Fasciitis). Saw info on these and tried them. During 8.5 mile walk I noticed my heel did not start to ache a little after a couple of miles as usual. After walk took of shoes and noticed heel was not stiff. Iced it anyway and stretched as usual. The next morning I woke up and did not stretch before leaving the bed to see if I would have heel pain as usual when using these inserts. To my shock, I did not. Have had them for a 2 weeks now and am pretty happy with them. Will need to get another 2 pairs so will not have to switch from shoe to shoe.

I too give power sole a 5+ rating...I cannot see my foot doctor that orginally sells this product to his patient for $15.00 per pair. I have been to a second foot doc...who has just given me needles...helps for awhile. I am see a new doc today and I know he is going to want me to order $300.00 orthodicts...which I refuse to do...with Power step products on the market? You know you need to e educated today when seeing physicians...or you can pay alot of money out of pocket for nothing????

Unbelievable. Cured my heel spur! Wouldn't dare wear any shoes again without inserting the Power Step insoles first. Well worth their $29 price.
