Alister Sim was the BEST scrooge EVER... This movie makes christmas special. Love it.

This is the version that I have in my collection, but I love all the versions. I really like this one best though...it has a creepy side.

A 4.5 Alistair Sim is perfect as the nasty selfish Scrooge.We watch this version every year. Charles Dickens came up with a good Christmas story.about changing your ways before it is too late. still holds up today.

This Alistar Sim version of Scrooge is by far the best. It stays very close to the Dickens' tale and is well acted throughout.

Xmas classic, with a fine performance by the guy who played Scrooge, I think his name was Reginald Owen. Oops, I must be thinking of some other film, it was Sim.

In my opinion, the best filmed version of this story. Alaistir Sim doesn't play Scrooge, he IS Scrooge.

Of all the movies on this list, I believe this movie gives the viewer the greatest impact of what Christmas is all about. Even the meanest crowd have to be moved a little.
