08/30/2006 |  The America First Party is a great little party that exists to help this country (U.S.A.) out by attempting to promote a beneficial paleo-conservative ideology that is non-theocratic and would work well in modern times. The party is very unlike the neo-conservative (pro-war) and neo-liberal(pro only-big-business) Republican party and the incremental-socialist Democratic party. Republicans want to keep the rich (their constituents) rich and the Democrats want to keep the poor (their constituents) poor by raising taxes thus slowly destroying the possibility of the people getting hired and paid a living wage wile, on the other hand, destroying, through taxes and fines, any possibility of the poor building their own businesses which would help eliminate poverty. The America First Party is not another Republican Party and is strongly against a theocracy (which many fear) but they are not against morality that is compatible with Judeo-Christian morality. (For instance, they are against the legalization of abortion because of moral reasons but they DO NOT wish to force their religion on others). The party is for FAIR TRADE which will help the economy, increase jobs, create higher wages and prevent the U.S. from depending on other countries for essential goods (like what happened to the British in 1914 when U-boats blockaded them) wile also decreasing pollution by having less American-used goods be produced in countries with poor environmental regulations. This will also help bad worker treatment (the party is against importing goods from countries with bad worker conditions. As it says in their platform: they want to ban imports that come from child, slave and prison labor. )
This party is against war unless it is to protect this country from an obvious threat plus this party is against any treaties or other international agreements that are not beneficial the United States.
The party is against high taxes, which they feel are harmful to the economy and the standards of living for the American people. This party, however, is not entirely against the federal government but prefers giving more power to state governments plus the AFP is not entirely against bureaucracy but they support having very strict guidelines that bureaucracy to, in their opinion, decrease corruption and waste.
This party is NOT a hick, redneck or hillbilly party. It is NOT a racist party (they are totally against racism, more so than the libertarian and personal choice parties are.). The fundamental beliefs of the neo-nazis are at odds with the fundamental beliefs of the America First Party( saying that this party is a nazi party is wrong and just plain stupid (but many of the opponents of this party just dont think)). This party is NOT theocratic and this party is NOT obsessed with the past (in other words they are a dynamic party not a static party) . This is a good political party and I know that many of the readers will hate it a first because it is different but all I ask is for you to read their platform and understand why they support the things that they support. I didnt support the things that this party stood for until I learned why they support those things which got me to change and will probably get others to change if they just understand what this party wants to do and why.
