01/04/2006 | Less effective than the clean air act because of the physical realities. Fact is, much of the water we drink is toxic. Filters help to some degree, but not all bottled water is even that clean. Unfortunately, all of industrial engineering is geared towards getting the pollution to the river, and eventually to the sea. Very shortsighted, but I don't have any alternatives to offer. Great idea. We just have to find a way to make it work.
