Does this mean Bush and his cronies would be in charge of the oil? No, bad idea.

Works well in other countries. Some industries weren't meant for the private sector.

Let me get this straight. We want to take an industry that has all kinds of problems and have the govenment run it? That obviously would boost the efficiency. I can see it know. Politically correct allocations of oil based on "need," or "socially progressive goals." etc. I shudder to think of the corruption. Look at Pemex for a good example. The UN Oil program in Iraq was a clean operation, wasn't it?
