The group was discovered in 1971 by Los Angeles Philharmonic conductor Zubin Mehta, who featured Ambrosia as part of a so-called All-American Dream Concert. They will never get in. I think they have to much of a wimp factor going when it comes to rock. I think they have no shot. I actually have their greatest hits album.

Not so fast, guys. Their 3 biggest from 1978-1980 may be on the wimpy factor to some, but their 1975 debut is a MUST listen for prog-rock fans--"Holdin' On to Yesterday" just scratches the surface. Seemed inspired somewhat from ELP and Floyd on the album. It will chill ME if 50 Cent gets in before these talented musicians. Viva le 70's soft rock!!!

Should't even really be on the list. No reason to include them in a discussion of Hall worthy bands.
