Not as bright as her husband, but certainly not stupid. Showed a lack of political cunning during the last year, which does not speak well to overwhelming intelligence.

Very trendy to rate her as a bright cookie- but I for one believe she's overrated politcially and intellectually. She carpet-bagged her way to NY on the heels of her husband's career and lost a coronation to a half-brother whose middle name is Hussien. At best, she lacks instincts. . .

I think she's bright but not as smart as her husband. She's not as adept a politician as Bill Clinton. Her campaign was flatfooted in comparison to her husband's campaigns. I do think she's capable and would be an asset to any presidential cabinet.

Hell, she got away with offing that guy to cover up those shady real estate deals...

Intelligent? Definitely. Very educated, and obviously an accomplished lawyer, Hillary Clinton was known for possessing a brilliant mind even before meeting her future husband, President Bill Clinton. Ambitious? Very. Anyone who is willing to take a stand on issues strictly according to the polls (and not because of pure conviction) in order to quench her insatiable thirst for the highest office in the land fits this to a tee. Manipulative? Yes. The preferred presidential candidate of the Left likes to walk the political tightrope and juggle two contrasting images: trying to balance herself out as a strong, capable woman- and a victim when she is attacked. But give her credit, it's worked so far. Obsessed with power? Well...yeah. Anyone who will do anything to obtain and secure absolute power- or flip-flop on issues just to play to every crowd- and by any means necessary is, at the least, obsessed with power. But the very fact remains: this manipulative demagogue who lusts for absolute power is anything BUT dumb! Dangerous? Most likely. But dumb? NO WAY!

The woman may be book smart, politically smart, etc. But when it comes to relationships she's clueless. Most women would have been out the door a long time ago. I mean we can forgive and forget maybe once or twice, and hold on to the sweet dream that love conquers all, but the reality is, love does not conquer all, and sometimes you need to choose self respect over dreams of happily ever after.

Very bright but somewhat undefinable. Rather like a person without a soul, in search of a parade so she can run to the front of it.

I think she is smart, not as smart as her hubby, but she comes across as very abrasive and shrill. If she plans on running for Prez she should be secretly getting speech lessons IMMEDIATELY to keep the shrillness down and put an interesting inflection to her voice, otherwise, she sounds like a female Al Gore or John Kerry (yawn). I would have been a big supporter but for her recent stands on just about everything that I oppose, so, no vote from me.
