 | GenghisTheHun (177) 04/30/2008 | UPDATE: Somebody snitched him out and he had to cough up a big chuck of change for various state income taxes. Now that is not smart for a senate candidate.
ORIGINAL COMMENT: He's bright but not as sharp as he thinks. I have seen him out of his controlled element and he flounders.
I am waiting for his Senate campaign against Senator Norm Coleman in Minnesota in 2008. We'll see just how sharp he actually is.

 | fluffytuffy (2) 05/24/2006 | Great humorist and good person overall. MUCH better than his conservative nemisis like Hannity because at least Al puts his money where his mouth is, he actually goes over and talks to, visits the troops in Afghan and Iraq where O'Reilly and Hannity and Rush are too chicken!!

 | EschewObfuscation (71) 01/23/2006 | As liberals go, he is a genius. When thrown into the mainstream he is a quirky guy who thinks and looks funny very occasionally. His obsession with politics, as opposed to generic, non-partisan political humor (like, say, Mark Russell) has rendered him little more than a partisan hack who can sometimes make liberals laugh. It's a living but I don't think any objective observer ventures the word "genius" anymore, only left-wing cheerleaders.

 | Wavebacker (27) 01/22/2006 | Highly intelligent, well-thought out humorist who delivery shows he's on another level in political thinking. His observations are funny and his intelligence is crafted thru an effective presentation of facts, analysis and conclusions in a smart funny way.

 | Drummond (60) 01/22/2006 | His ability to come up with brilliant lines and character acting on the spot is indicative of serious genious. It would be more universally recognized if political agendas weren't involved.
