Whatever his faults were, they are diminished because he supported the United States in our time of need.

Tony Blair is a man of average intelligence, camouflaged by a quick wit and photographic memory (far more important qualities for a politician-you can always find plenty of eggheads to write speeches and work out policies for you). Blair is undoubtedly the greatest professional actor/public speaker of his generation. Bad judgement, however, (especially Iraq) has wrecked his reputation.

Quite bright and quick but not arc light in my opinon.

Close to arc light. Articulate, principled, forward-looking, thick-skinned guy who has embraced the correct (finally!) US fight against islamofascist terror. Unheard of in the US for a liberal, no wonder only American republicans support him, though I suspect he has more support in his own country than we Americans are led to believe.

Intelligent enough to recognize the new realities that the 21st century has provided and enough character to act on his beliefs despite having to endure the slings and arrows of his nations's citizenry.

Clintonesque brilliance. Days may be numbered however.
