He was funny and quick. I thought his powers declined in his later years. That happens to many of us senior citizens.

Intelligent, observant comic who's funny and also analitical. Breaks down things to a crude, simplistic yet sharp and edgy level that is funny. Losing his edge as he gets older though.

He's smart, but I'd have to agree with frogio. In recent years, he's become very bitter and grouchy, and his peak was really in the 70's, when he was genuinely innovative and very funny.

Used to love this guy, but lately I'm getting embarassed to admit it. Since losing his wife, poor George's act has become nothing other than a raving monologue of distain and whipping post torture.
