 | Wavebacker (27) 04/09/2005 | The Patriots will lose for several reasons: 1) They have average WR's and a decent RB leading them to think they can run vs the tough Eagles D. 2) Brady doesnt handle in-you-face pressure, blitzes the type the Eagles can bring. 3) The Eagles are capable of generating a pass rush while providing strong DB coverage 4) McNabb can beat you by passing and running like no other QB the Patriots are used to facing 5) Eagles RB Westbrook is a tough match-up, esp. on First Down 6) The Patriots have average DB's, the sort that McNabb can exploit with T.O. , Westbrook and First Down Freddie Mitchell 7) The Patriots are overconfident. They think they'll win and are taking the Eagles lightly.

 | BIGBABY (11) 01/24/2005 | The best of the best. Only bad luck can kill them. UPDATE: Crushed the Steelers defense. Will win the Superbowl in a cakewalk.

 | DRoxas (1) 10/02/2004 | Always tough D with Beli-chicken as the HC of the NEP and Charlie the Tuna as offensive coordinator, but age and player turn-over will cost them this season. Run D is suspect. Injuries to WR's a concern as well. Lombardi Trophy ends up someone elses hands in Jacksonville!!!

 | LanceRoxas (41) 09/23/2004 | Will always be tough with Little Bill at the helm but they didn't look very impressive in either of these first two weeks. They will move aside for the younger, faster much improved Jets this season.

 | abichara (63) 09/22/2004 | They actually improved significantly during the off-season, so the Patriots ought to be solid contenders once the playoffs come. This is a team with both a solid offense and defense. It'll be an interesting year for them.

 | numbah16tdhaha (156) 09/22/2004 | legit contender. Brady lives for big games. UPDATE: The additions make them all the more dangerous.

 | jgls (14) 09/21/2004 | they will do it out of spite, just to piss me off. the colts outplayed them the first week of the season and would have won if they had been able to take care of the ball in the red zone. the patriots are both lucky and good, and unfortunately they will win the super bowl this year.

 | bbutler76 (7) 08/04/2004 | Solid on both offense and defense. Adding Corey Dillon will prove to be the key to another title, unfortunately. Tom Brady does not get the respect he deserves. This is the team to beat, like it or not.

 | louiethe20th (78) 08/04/2004 | The Pats have made a big upgrade at Runningback this year with Corey Dillion. They still have the Super Bowl team nearly intact. They would be my favorites going into the year.

 | zuchinibut (41) 08/04/2004 | As much as I dislike them, I see no reason why the Patriots should be any worse this year than they have in recent years. Their passing game is efficient with Tom Brady leading the way, and Corey Dillon should definitely improve their rushing offense. As long as their defense doesn't start aging, the Patriots should definitely be considered the frontrunners for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
