02/18/2007 | Die Hard has to be one of my favourite films especially when it comes to the best movie quotes. I mean can anyone top, "Ho-Ho-Ho now i have a machine gun," i don't think so.

01/02/2006 | Jewish culture historian and founder of Dissent Magazine. He was the spokesman for American "conservative socialism," a diehard socialist who often took stands not congruent with the leftist orthodoxy. While he opposed the war in Viet Nam, he was very skeptical about the anti-war movement and the tendency of some activists to romanticize if not support the North Vietnamese military. During a speech at Stanford university he was attacked by a self-proclaimed Maoist as a "social democrat." He responded (quote not exact, but best of memory), "You know what young man? You may attack me for being a social democrat, but in 10 years I'll still be a social democrat. You'll probably be working midmanagement in the PR department of IBM and reminiscing about your so-called radical youth."
