We usually have deli sandwiches for Christmas with my dad's relatives.  Not gourmet by any means but it brings people together.

Sure, down here people like tamales, we had tamales and ham for X-Mas.

I love to eat on Christmas. We start at my house, then we nap, then we go to grandma's and eat again.

A great excuse to do that great dance called "the Pig-Out".

But then when you try to get into your jeans, that's a whole new dance right there.

Yeah! Turkey, veggies and deserts.

not a favorite thing but we do ususally have a good sized meal on Christmas. we used to all get together on Christmas have this big meal. but relatives die. people get married etc. so it is down to  just the four of us on Christmas day. will have a ham dinner even though we would prefer turkey. okay thing but really not looking forward to.maybe because the cooking is on me and my daughter. but gotta eat.might as well have a nice meal.

Baked ham, cheesy potatoes, green been caserole, buttered rolls, and the list goes on......

I enjoy eating on the other 364.25 days of the year as well. However, usually Christmas means a higher quality of food than on some of those other days.

There is nothing more comforting than sitting down at the family dinner table with loads of relatives and friends, good food, wine, treats and everyone smiling and tucking in.

No doubt. I eat more than I should on this day of days.

Considering I'm an agnostic, this is what I still love about the holiday (that, the presents, and being with the family...although the food may take precedence if I'm pressed...).

Our family eats weird food for breakfast so I never really look forward to it. :|

Well . . . I WOULD like to eat sometime during the day. It might not be the highlight of the day, but food is always nice.

Yep, its a given!
