Playing board games can be a lot of fun, however with my family it can often be difficult to get enough people to play.

Board games are fun any time. I like Monopoly, Yahtzee, and Sorry. All classics, and still popular.

Our family usually stays up until well past midnight playing dominoes or Settlers of Cataan (if only four of us get crazy). Often times, the whole family stays up until 3 or 4 a.m. playing a contested game of Brain Chain -- there is just nothing like a great board game to keep the family together and to get in the spirit of Christmas!

When at my neighbors a couple of years ago there were about 10 of us and we hit the wine and got into a pretty heated trivial pursuit game that ended about 2:00 am!
