I really don't think the chiefs have a chance this year.

Terrible start. Vermeil's gang didn't address true problems in the off season (porous D.....just hiring Gunther Cunningham didn't cut it, its the PLAYERS that stink!!!!....lack of a big time WR) and this years tough schedule won't produce any tears of joy for ol Dick....just tears! Poor Priest.

Lance is being a little unkind about their D. His mom is pretty tough back to stop, from what I've heard. He's right about their chances though. This team's going nowhere.

0-2 and can't stop my mother on D. Priest is injured and this team is in trouble.

They choke again! UPDATE: If Holmes goes down they are done. They have no wideouts and Tony Gonzalez can only do so much.

No defense, no clutch receivers, inconsistent QB. Great runningback, above-average tight end, and a very respectable and inspirational coach. Super Bowl? No way.

The Chiefs will be unstoppable again this year on offense. The only difference being, they will play defense the season. Gunther Cunningham is no bodies fool and will have the KC defense slamming the run and letting the d-backs play simple coverage. If the defense improves even a little bit, no one will be safe in their cross-hairs. The down side is, Tait should have stayed around to play in Superbowl 2005.

The Chiefs offense is great, and Priest Holmes has been one of my favorite players since he joined the league as an unsigned free agent. However I can't name anybody on the Chiefs defense, and I just don't think they will be able to improve enough from last year to be a Super Bowl contender.

Anything's possible. The Chiefs' offense (Green, Hall, Holmes, Gonzalez) remains for the most part untouched which means they should be just as if not more productive than last year (16-0?). But defense IS the deal-breaker, isn't it. Well, with defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham back in the fold, we should see some KC Defense reminiscent of the Schottenheimer days coming this season.

So many great weapons, but can the Defense rise to the challenge?I do not know!
