it is not very often, but we caught our shih tzu trying to open up a Christmas present a couple days ago. we had to wrap it again. turns out it was one we had for a kid that had a candy Santa wrapped with the present. she must have smelled it. luckily she did not get to the chocolate. would have hated to see how sick she would get.
