Fortunately since I got out of the horse industry I havent had to work on most holidays. As a groomer while working in vet hospitals, i sometimes volenteered to make that time and a half to help in the kennels but the clinic I work at now doesn't board so we will shut down for three days this year. Had four days off at Thanksgiving.

Never experienced this...hence the 1 star rating. However, if I had to work on Christmas, then I'd better be paid AT LEAST DOUBLE what I'd make in a day.
