 | 93century (36) 01/06/2006 | After Thanksgiving in 2004, im starting to think this act is overrated. For example: I bought a frozen pizza oven at Menards for $40.00. If i waited, i could have gotten one for the same price after the Thanksgiving rush at another store. Im with Heykate on this one. I would pay the extra few bucks so i can get some sleep.

 | HistoryFan (98) 12/02/2005 | Yeah, I also agree that it depends upon the person. Some people do this; others hate it. My mom's co-worker actually LOVES Wal-Mart and camped out there at 10 p.m. last week on Thanksgiving. She got FOUR laptops that cost $200 EACH.

 | Molfan (57) 12/02/2005 | it depends on each person. Some people actually like to do this. Years ago I used to get up early and be there at 6 in the morning. one year I stood there in a long line after dealing with some rude customers and thinking what am I doing here? I have not done it since and do not miss it. I guess it is a required taste and not all of us are up for it.
