that would really stink. that is why I try and go slow when I pick up the wrapping. Not to mention, If i ever get money or a gift card. i put it somewhere safe right away. I tried and taught my kids to do this too. just so that will not happen. anything small could so easily get caught up in wrapping paper.

Now that would really suck considering our paper always ends up in the fireplace!

Doesn't happen with us. We've learned how to grab money and secret it away for later. :)

This would never happen to me. If I see Franklin he won't get away.

I make it a point to never open a gift which is clearly a monetary gift in front of the giver (my chinese family uses the traditional red "lucky" envelopes, so it's pretty obvious what is in it); it just seems kind of rude to check out how much they gave. However, when it's stuck in a greeting card or something, I can see where it can be pretty easy to lose track of those things.

I almost came very close to doing this.
