Some kids are lucky to get anything at all. If they complain too much then the parents could just donate everything to the needy.

I never experienced this, hence the one rating. If I didn't like my present, I was smart enough as a kid to fake the sentiment. If someone hated my gift, I wouldn't want them to tell me how much it sucked.

suppose it depends. If someone got a really weird gift that would be of no interest to a kid can see why they would. but on the other hand if it is just a spoiled gimmie gimmie type who is looking for the next gift and it better be something expensive.it would be guess what you are getting next year nothing!{or at least that is what i wish I could say to some cousins, nieces, nephews over the years]
