I have been smoking Camel 99's for about 8 yrs now. I prefer them to the regular camel filters or camel filter 1oos b/c the 99's have a slightly sweet aftertaste. It isn't something that you would notice unless you did a smoke-tasting or happen to have a good palate (like me). They are by far worth it!

everyone has a preference of which cigarette they want to smoke. i first tried marlboro reds, then newports, benson and hedges, paul malls, even capris and i have to say camels are all i smoke, of course 99s to be on topic. too bad i'm trying to quit.

alright, that rater, islack, who is on every cigarette rating really should not be aloud to post comments, because this is a site for smokers who share there fews on products.  I give these a five

I've been picking these up because there are still a few left of the original blend. The new blend is very good, but I'll miss the original when it finally runs out.  Throwing in an occasional change such as a Viceroy helps to bring back appreciation for these.

I've been smoking these since January. They've been my main choice ever since. Long lasting, slow burning and decent flavor. They are, however, starting to taste flat to me. But Camel has always been my main choice for cigarettes.

I can't see how these don't get 5 stars. For those of you who don't like the new Camel Filters blend, pick up a pack of these. ORIGINAL Camel taste, just a tad stronger. If there is any nag at all about these it's that for being a 100,they burn sorta quick.

I didn't like them they have really bad flavor for me, personally I think your better off with Kamel Reds, the only compliment I can give these cigs is that their cheap and their long, (last longer).

I actually compared these to Camel 100s. they're exactly 1/10th of a gram lighter in weight, and 1/100th shorter! I'm not fond of the self extinguishing wrap at the base of the filter, and in my opinion, they don't smoke as well as 100s

bummed a camel light 99 from my friend, don't see what all the fuss is about, very conventional, smooth and nice, like the classic camel flavor is. i dont see what the big deal is though

Great cig, Super smooth, slow burning and very flavorful. My only complaint is that i only have one pack of 20 LOL. the aftertaste lasts and is really good but it really makes you want another one like all camel's GREAT BUY!!

Just started selling them in my area. Great like all classic Camels. My favorite long cigarette by far.
