Actually,he is not as stupid as his political opponents make him out to be.He has an MBA.His grades were better that Sen.Kerry's.
Then again,is any president or politician really super intelligent?I am convinced that intelligence in a politician is not really necessary. All one needs is a salesman's ability to hype one,s policies,a lawyer's ability to make the facts fit the conclusion you are trying to draw and a bit of psychology/blarney is crucial as well.

Isn't this rating funny! Who started the idiot thing? You're not going to believe this... Barbra Streisand. When she said this about Bush on her website, "But I guess that's what a president with a 'C' average gets you." She made this statement when she was supporting Kerry. All the other celebrities followed the tune almost immediately. Bush was dumb and Kerry was an intellectual. And even after the election the Left really continued to believed that. Everyone wondered why Kerry didn't get his military records released before the election. Now we know why. It also contained his college transcript. He didn't go on to higher education like Bush did at Harvard but they both attended Yale almost at the same time, two years apart. Now we know the undisputable facts. Kerry was a "low" C student. Bush made better grades than Kerry. More embarrassing for Kerry (not for Babs since she's clueless) is that he made 4 D's his first year at Yale. He earned two of them in history and one in political science. The other 'D' was in Geology. This is the same guy that called Alaska drilling "a fraudulent offering" and "vastly overstates the potential to reduce the nation's reliance on foreign oil." If I were Babs, I'd think he knew what he was talking about too. The next year he earned only one D. Now who perpetuated this myth about Bush being stupid and Kerry being smart? A person that obtained her highest degree from High School and thought Saddam was a Iranian dictator, Streisand. She came to that conclusion although it was known, Bush had a Bachelors Degree from Yale and an additional Master's Degree from Harvard. Kerry knew the myth wouldn't last so when Tom Brokaw interviewed Kerry (before his college grades were released) on the "NBC Nightly News" and told him, "Someone has analyzed the president's military aptitude tests and yours and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do." Kerry instantly dismissed this news with nonchalance saying, "That's great. More power [to him]." Later Brokaw said on Don Imus's show that once the cameras had stopped rolling, he found that it really concerned Kerry. This really shows you how easily people are influenced by Hollywood and the magnitude the stars can direct their followers life and beliefs. So what kind of geniuses convinced these people that Bush was stupid and Kerry was smart? Here is a list of them and the highest degree they obtained: Barbra Streisand: High School Michael Moore: High School Alec Baldwin: High School Martin Sheen: High School (attempted to enter University of Dayton but flunked exam) Cher: Dropped out of school in 9th grade Jessica Lange: High School Julia Roberts: High School Sean Penn: High School Ed Asner: High School George Clooney: High School Sarah Jessica Parker: High School Jennifer Anniston: High School Mike Farrell: High School Janeane Garofelod: High School Larry Hagman: High School Michelle Pfeiffer High School Susan Sarandon: Degree in drama from Catholic University of America. So we have one college grad on the list. I don't know about you, but maybe it's harder to get accepted at Catholic University of America than Yale or Harvard. I guess we'll never know since when Sarandon attended a SAT test was not required for admissions.

He's so idiotic that he managed to win two national elections over an enoromously energized/motivated, extensive and well-financed political opposition. Many of whom keep deriding him as a moron. Yeah, whatever. One of these days the majority of the Democratic Party is going to wake up and life will be found to be so different from what the lefties imagined it while engulfed in their little fantasy world.

Being a poor public speaker or a speller does not make one an idiot, otherwise many of us here on RIA would be in serious trouble. Disagreement with policy or practice, does not conote idiocy either. This is the most childish of all the attacks on the President and the Presidency by many who say they love our country. UPDATE: Example: I did not agree with or vote for Bill Clinton, but I hardly would ever refer to him as an idiot. I did not think his policies were healthy for America as proven in the recession which started in the last two years of his Presidency, but that does not make him an idiot. I respect the office and my country and do not want the rest of the world community to see the silly bickering of the Greatest Nation on the face of the Earth which we still are. It was by our hands that Afghanistan and Iraq each held elections. They voted, we didn't. We bought that right for them while the rest of the world sat and watched. Iraqis are trying their former President, not us. We gave that right to them. I don't think any US President is an idiot.

I've already stated this before, but it should be repeated - no president we've had has ever been an idiot. That word refers to a person who has an unnaturally low IQ. A person has to be intelligent, shrewd, intuitive, and ambitious to become a president in the first place. A man/woman could possibly be corrupt or even evil and still be a president (I do not personally think Bush is either of these) but all of them are smart. Some may have lacked wisdom or chraracter, but none have lacked intelligence.

There are many different types of knowledge. Bush may not care too much about empirical distinctions or academic debates, but certainly you don't get to the Presidency without knowing a thing or two about how to make appeals to a wide range of people. Bush isn't very knowledgeable, true, but that doesn't make him an idiot.

God, this reminds me of when I was in about the 4th grade. Back when our intellectual skills had developed only to the point that when some kid really hated you the only thing he/she could think of to spew out was, Well, you're stupid! If you're having trouble remembering this, feel free to jot it down for future reference; not liking someone does not make that person an idiot. And neither does being a mediocre public speaker.

Total jackass moron WARMONGER. The only reason he might NOT go down in history as the most deceptive leader in US history is the 50.6% of frightened americans who are more concerned with American Idol and Survivor than politics. Vietnam was a more thought out war than this farce, and slightly more than half believe that Iraq attacked NYC on 9/11. I hope bush gets his just deserts, and is impeached for decieving america more than Bill CLintons lie about a PERSONAL MATTER- fellatio. PLEASE WAKE ME UP WHEN HE's GONE!

Well, uh... let's see. I'll keep the dying oil hungry Cheney, hire Conda-somethin' Rice, and Donald Rumsfeld. We need to uh... stop those who harbor terrorism, except for the Saudis.

Most of the topics on this list perfectly embody why the Democrats lost this last election. That is, they stopped putting their focus on the issues and started putting all their energy on insulting and degrading our president.

Hmmm. I wonder how many of the people calling him an idiot are graduates of Yale and have degrees from Harvard Business School. Oh! Of course! His father got all that for him, or whatever lame argument people will come up with. Sad.

Not suprised that this tops the list currently. Do the Democrats have nothing better to attack the President on that they have to resort to name calling? Capone wrote, he dumb. That makes tons of sense. And too Chauncey, if your going to talk about approval ratings, why not add in John Edwards pathetic ratings in his home state?
