Not, repeat, not the greatest president in American history. My feelings about this guy are sort of mixed. I give him major points for A) not waiting around for opinion polls to decide what is proper, B) effectively flexing American military muscle, and C) leading us out of the Clinton era. On the other hand, he is 75 years out of date regarding contemporary religious views and has not been killing enough Arabs.

The threat of George W Bush's actions scares me more than any terrorist ever will. It seems to me that America is being run as the most introverted, money driven, power hungry place at the moment and a large majority are having the wool pulled over their eyes by the current government. I think the so-called War on Terror is a tool of distraction being used to control by stimulating unrealistic fears and beliefs. The US media is confused by whether it should entertain or inform when really it ought to just provide the facts and nothing more. The sooner a global citizen is elected in place of this ignorant puppet the brighter the future will be for us all.

A terrible president who 'leads' by deception and division. Ducking real action in Vietnam hasn't prevented him from having the ridiculous idea that he understands war in a geopolitical sense. . .pretends to be a centrist but actually bases domestic and foreign policy on an extreme Christian platform that is clearly out of step with many Americans and the rest of the world. The media kisses his ass today- but history will tell the truth.

I am from australia and even i can see that the american government is corrupt they dont care about you americans or the rest of the world, the care about profits (money) and themselves, send the leaders of america into war... send them to iraq for no reason to bring a regeme that may seem corrupt to us, down. America is the biggest and most powerfull country in the world, then why is america, the dumbest and fattest country in the world. Why are more poeple killed by guns in america then the rest of the world? homeland secruity? Corrupt Industries? bush needs to address others areas.. He is the most corupt and dangerous president that america has elected

Greatest president? No way. Not even close. No way Jose! Bush stinks worse than my dog's doo-doo! What has Bush accomplished besides tampering with Social Security or supporting laws that ban gay marriage? He's nothing but one of these sleazy Southern loving bible-thumping pinheads!

it is way too early to historically judge the bush presidency as he is still in office, he has an ambitious agenda for his second term, but his presidency will ultimately be judged on how the nation fared in the war on terrorism. so far i give him favorable marks.

I'm not going to say that Bush is the greates president in American history but he surely is one of the best our country ever has had. First- he liberated 50 million people from oppresive and brutal goverments. Second- he restored family values and morals to the White House with his solid Christian ethics. Of course there is much more but hey, all you have to do is look at his adminstration- it all speaks for itself!

Free thinker and visionary he most certainly is not. Bush ought to get with the programme... the rest of the world is planning to get ahead of him.

It seems that instead of presenting a point of view with facts to back up their opinions, some reviewers are calling Bush supporters idiots because we have a different point of view. If those are the rules by which you wish to play then you are also fair game. Let's see....... I see a number of typos indicating a degree of carelessness in posting. There is a d in president, an s in easily, a v in poverty, environment is spelled viro not vior, there should be an s at the end of supplies, there is no such word as inconfident, because is spelled with the a coming before the u, there should be an apostrophe in America's reputation, there should be a space between the words each other, there is an e before the ly in unfortunately, and drooling is not spelled like dueling, and for someone who doesn't want to talk about certain things, it seems the reviewer goes on at length about nothing. How about some facts to back up your opinion? The premise of the war in Iraq can be debated seeing as everyone from Bill Clinton to John Kerry said that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and Hillary Clinton and Robert C Byrd went so far as to say Hussein was getting ready to build nuclear weapons. Of course no mention is ever made of the fact that Clinton sent our soldiers to Bosnia and said that they were going to be home by Christmas 9 years ago. Bush brought them home in December of 2004. There are no statistics cited to back up the claims of poverty rates going up or the stock market going bad. No bills have been mentioned and no Congressional Records have been referenced to back up the claim that the environment is terrible and that Bush is knocking down forests. Bush has approved matching funds for states that help private land owners protect rare species. The problem of health care is an ongoing crisis which was handed to Bush when he became president. Unlike Hillary Clinton, Bush is trying to find solutions within the market as socialization would degrade the current system. He did not create the problem yet he is being blamed for it. His plans have flaws but he is trying to fix a very complicated issue which has been made even more complicated by people like Ted Kennedy who in 1965 introduced HMOs. Where has it ever been written, stated, or implied that Bush hates non Christians? After the attacks on September 11 he went to Mosques to assure the Muslim population that the blame does not lie on the shoulders of the average American person of Muslim faith. Much of the world has become socialist or near socialist and if they hate us it is because we will not join them in their political system and it seems that most Americans are indifferent to the concerns of foreign countries when it comes to their passing judgment on America. Over half the people in this country are called drooling (correct spelling) idiots because we have a different point of view than another reviewer. So much for tolerance and honest discussion. I'm just an idiot in your eyes because I voted for Bush so I guess that I should just sit in a corner and drool. It's one thing to state an opinion even with no congressional bills or facts to back them up. That's often what an opinion is all about. But if you are going to make accusations about what Bush is doing and if you're going to call me a drooling idiot because I have a different point of view, you had better come to the table with more than just a poorly spelled opinion with no hard facts to back up your allegations. It is not likely that anyone is going to be swayed to a different point of view from a source that can't even spell drooling properly. But then again, I'm the idiot here...... right?

Anyone who could give 5 stars to this is an idiot. Bush is the exact opposite. He is easily the worst presient in American history. Anyone who says Bush is the best or even great is completly wrong. Now I will explain why Bush is eaily Americas worst president. He started a pointless war, to start, which has killed thousands of Americans and has not gotten America any better. Americans are slowly becoming more and more poor as pverty rates go up every year. Our stock market is in bad shape because everything is over-priced and people don't have that much money. The enviornment is terrible, Bush is knocking down forests and ruining water supplie and everything. People are losing healthcare and doctors are having a harder time finding jobs thanks to Bush taxing these poor people. Non Christian people are inconfident in there country becuase Bush hates them so much. Americas reputation with the world is worse than it has ever been in world history. Red States and Blue States are on the verge of civil war they can't stand eachother so much, and unfortunatly the Blue States are the minority to the drueling idiots that are the Red States. These are just some of many things I don't even want to talk about that makes Bush Americas worst preisdent of all time.

Even if he were considered a good president, he could not even begin to compete with the likes of Washington, Lincoln or FDR.

He's not the greatest but he still has time. He received more votes for re-election than did Bill Clinton.

The greatest since Ive been alive. Since 9/11, Bush has done an excellent job of defending the US and preventing terrorist attacks. In less than three years, Bush has eliminated over 66% of Al Qeada. Top Al Qeada members have been killed. The Taliban has been completely destroyed. Saddam was captured and both of his sons have been killed. There has not been a single terror attack on US soil since 9/11. I feel safe under Bush.

I love Dubya and feel he could possibly go down as one of the greatest when history plays itself out- but it is way to early to say that today. Abraham Lincoln, widely considered our greatest president, was lampooned by the press here-called a simpleton, dumb, stupid, and divisive. He was hated by Europe who dismissed him as yes- a dunce, and was considered the most polarizing president to ever hold the office- which was true. Many of the cultural elites felt he led America into an unnecessary war that was destroying our country, that he was too stupid to see the complexities and his religious beliefs forced him to see everything in terms of right and wrong. Sound familiar?? While changing the course of history those who are stuck inside the box will chastise the free thinkers who view the world in a different light. If toppling regimes and bringing freedom to nations in need, while steadilily bringing together a coalition of the new world order and leaving the old behind defines the next century Dubya will be the Lincoln of his time. If he is not re-elected I believe a chance to move modern civilization forward will be greatly missed.
