The guy lost a crap load of weight which is inspirational but it's not heroic. All the guy does now is go on TV and complain about how much fat is in a big mac. He's not even doing the research, he's reading numbers off of cue cards. Any moron that can read above a fourth grade level could do that. I'm sure there's a high school drop out there somewhere that would love to have a job as sweet as his.

Let me get this straight. A cop gets shot because a crackhead robs a 7-11 for $12...a fireman dives into an inferno just to save a kid's cat...and Jared eats a sandwich sans the mayonaisse. Can you get what's wrong with this picture?

Well, at least I rank him above Michael Moore. Jared would crawl naked over a minefield and kill sixty Iraqis with the jawbone of an ass to stuff a Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Sub into his grille.

He's not one. The word "Hero"only applies here in the sense of a submarine sandwich, which people who don't call them hoagies, grinders, subs, etc, refer to them as. Which is what Jared is ostensibly trying to avoid, except those from this horrid chain.
