He was a Commie who seized the moment to lead the anti-Soviet Hungarian Revolution in 1956. He was the man of the moment, but the Communists with the Red Army invaded, conquered Hungary, and executed Nagy. The "progressives" strike again.

Eisenhower was smart enough to stay out of this mess.
