Although they have not been considered and are unlikely to be for the same reason as artists like Kate Bush or even Laura Nyro, the ISB are undoubtedly a band of considerable importance and significance. They never made the Top 150 on Billboard, but have been cited as a important influence by many in the rock music world, being regarded actually as equal in importance (besides sounding much more interesting) as the famous protopunks of the same era.
