Comeon, why wast time on bands like this. Intro and Outro is a fun some and I suppose there is a Paul connection or two, but we are talking about the greatest rock and roll bands of all time. Not a change.

The 4 is indicative of the regard I have for them, not their "Hall Chances." Al Roker has a better shot at getting in there than they do. Irreverent late 60's/ early 70's British group, fairly popular in Britain, a cult act here, that specialized in wacky songs, often in a 20's music hall or Dixieland manner. You might recall Neil Innes of this group from his appearance as Sir Robin's minstrel in Monty Python's Holy Grail or for his role as the McCartneyesque character inthe Beatles pastiche "The Rutles." This group, praised by many in the 60's British rock scene, appeared in the Magical Mystery Tour film as the lounge act singing "Death Cab For Cutie," and McCartney himself produced their lone U.K. hit, the jaunty "I'm The Urban Spaceman." Daft , hilarious, but talented assemblage. My favorite song of theirs might be the priceless 1969 track "Mr. Apollo" which tears apart the "get big and strong and kick the sand right back in their faces" scams/ ads that you would find in magazines and comic books back then, promising huge muscles in only 7 days. Sometimes they can be twee or annoying, but for the most part they are well worth listening to.
