 | miketou (5) 06/20/2006 | I have a stationary bike in my home gym and I use it everyday. It's great for a cardio workout and a lot safer than riding a regular bike on city streets. Also you don't have to contend with bad weather. It also helps to build muscular legs and firms the backside. A word of caution--not all stationary bikes are the same. It's best to "test ride" the bike before purchasing it. It's important to select a bike that's comfortable for you or you won't stick with it. Most health professionals recommend a cardio workout of 30 minutes daily to keep your heart fit.
